My role as Chief Medical Officer involves general oversight of the treatment being delivered by OCD and how providers are trained; clinical leadership and management; measuring, monitoring, and reporting clinical outcomes; and clinical innovation research
“To restore hope for people with OCD through better awareness and treatment. This mission is why I joined NOCD in 2018. OCD is treatable, yet many people with OCD do not get better because they may not know that what they experience is OCD, what treatments are effective, or how to get treatment. NOCD has addressed these barriers by providing evidence-based exposure and response prevention, covered by most private insurance plans, delivered virtually by therapists who receive extensive training in OCD and OCD-related disorders, and supplemented by messaging between sessions and peer and community support.“
